Make use

Sunday, August 1st, 2010

No matter what you do, or what you fail to do, the moments of this day will pass at a steady and unrelenting pace.

Today will move right along, and there’s no way you can stop it or hold on to it. What you can do, however, is make full use of it. What you can do is make something of lasting value out of the fleeting moments of this day.

Yes, you could choose to put forth the very minimum effort required to simply make it through the day. Yet all that will do is take you to tomorrow, where the only thing you’ll have to show for it is the need to make it through still another day.

Instead, use this day to grow, to learn, to act and move and build and accomplish. Rather than seeking to merely make it through, choose to truly make it count for something great.

Time is already moving steadily ahead. Make the decision, right now, to move ahead with it.

Make full and joyous use of the unique moment in time where you now find yourself. You’ve been given the valuable gift of this day, so step forward and claim its special treasures.

Awareness

Your thoughts and sensations may often dominate your awareness. Remember, though, that your awareness exists beyond them.

Even when your thoughts are completely calmed, you are still very much aware. The thoughts and sensations come and go, and behind them all is your ever-present awareness.

The thoughts you have are the thoughts you choose to hold. They are not you.

Although you may have been stuck in a negative, destructive thought pattern for years or even for decades, you always have the choice of letting it go. For ultimately, your thoughts do not create you or define you, and they do not have to hold you hostage.

When you know that you do not have to think, then you are free to think whatever you choose. When you experience your thoughts and sensations as objects flowing through your awareness, then they no longer have the power to hold you back.

Your mind is an enormously powerful tool that is yours to use as you choose. Cultivate awareness beyond your thoughts, and put all those thoughts to use in a positive, meaningful way.

Make the effort

Everything you accomplish, you must first attempt. So get busy making those attempts. Procrastination and excuses do not lead to achievement. The way to make it happen is to make the attempt.

You may very well fall short on the first few attempts. There may very well be plenty of good reasons to give up.

Even so, keep making the attempt. Action and persistence will get you everywhere.

How do you get yourself to make the attempt? By connecting that attempt, and the achievement it will ultimately bring, with a real and meaningful purpose deep within you.

When you are clear about why you must do what you must do, you’ll have no trouble finding the will and the commitment to step boldly forward. Make the attempt, as often as necessary, and you will surely make it happen.

Welcome to the Course that Changes Lives!

The Balloon

Sunday, July 25th, 2010

At first a balloon is flat. You could have it in your pocket or in the middle of a book and nobody has any idea of what you are keeping. Sometimes you could hold it in your hands without anybody noticing what you have.

But the moment you blow air into it steadily, it becomes impossible for you to put it in the middle of your book like you did earlier! Once you start blowing the balloon, you cannot fold it in your hands as you did before! Everybody around you begins to notice the balloon. They begin to pay attention to its colors and its size. This is how the life of a man is supposed to be. When you have an idea, it may first be in your book or on a sheet of paper in your hands and isn’t seen by anybody. But when you start to blow creativity into your idea, people begin see it. It also becomes impossible for you, the visionary, to hide the idea.

The idea attracts attention itself. Just like all the balloon needs to start receiving attention is consistent air, all your idea needs is consistent creativity blown into it.

Air sustains the balloon as long as there is no place for air to escape. Your business also thrives as long as creativity is not allowed to escape.

The balloon traps air inside to be able to exhibit its real size and at the same time it takes advantage of the air to move up. The breeze does not often favor the balloon but the balloon still takes advantage of the breeze to dance in the air. You and I know so well that the balloon might be fully blown but it does not move if there is no breeze to carry it.

You do not have to start with money. Start with what’s on your mind.

There are people who have ideas and are waiting for money to start. What amazes me is that there are people who have money and are waiting for ideas so that they can invest their money! If money really gets things started, the people who have money would not look for ideas.

You may also be interested in the fact that the balloon lasts longer because of its flexibility. When it hits anything, its direction changes.

When you hit a hard rock, while sailing through life, don’t stay put. Don’t say it’s the end of the road. There’s a long way to travel beyond the rock.

When the balloon is pressed, it bends and flips because of pressure. Learn to endure. Use pressure to bend and flip to the next level.

The route a balloon or your life takes isn’t going to be straight. Like an alphabet written on a straight line, you have to go zigzag before picking the letters that form success. I know you can be a success!

Think Like A Billionaire!

Wednesday, July 21st, 2010

Before Donald Trump built his first building…  It had already been built in his mind

Before Bill Gates created his first computer program…  It was already running in his thoughts

Before you achieve the huge financial success you want and deserve…

You must learn to Think Like A Billionaire!

At this moment, as you’re reading these words, there are about 200 people in the United States whose net worth exceeds one billion dollars…

There are an undetermined number of people who are destined to join the ranks of the very, very wealthy…

There are also many millions of people who will never become rich. Their hopes and dreams are just as important to them as those of the future billionaires, but their plans will not turn into tangible realities…

The only question is: Which group do you want to join?

You see, the foundation of creating great wealth isn’t an Ivy League education … or rich relatives … or even great talent of some kind. Billionaires are not made in business schools or boardrooms.

Great wealth begins in the mind!

The tools of billionaire thinking are in fact available to everyone. But the sad fact is, most people will go through life without ever recognizing those tools for what they are, much less putting them to use.

“Anyone” could have discovered the Theory of Relativity — if “anyone” had embraced the revolutionary, counterintuitive viewpoints that Albert Einstein adopted.

Similarly, “anyone” could have transformed McDonald’s from a single California drive-in to a multinational corporation — “anyone,” that is, with the penetrating business acumen of Ray Kroc.

The idea of putting a computer in a box so customers could buy it off the shelf could have occurred to “anyone” — but it didn’t. That stroke of visionary genius took place in the mind of Steve Jobs.

How To Think Like A Billionaire is like a treasure map to a chest of gold — gold that lies buried not in your back yard, but in your own mind !

Sure, there will be people who discover these principles on their own. As they begin to think like billionaires, a number of those individuals will in fact become billionaires. But will you be one of the men and women who happen to stumble across these ideas during the course of a lifetime?

Maybe you will — but the odds are against you. So why risk missing out on the wealth building chance of a lifetime? Why devote years or even decades to learning the secrets of billionaire thinking — when they can all be yours today in this truly extraordinary audio program?

On a regular basis, go somewhere new. And keep fresh, positive energy flowing into your life.

Your job is to determine your outcomes by your intentions. What are your income expectations? Are they in alignment with your time and budget?

Needless Needs

Sunday, July 18th, 2010

Do you really need to win every argument? Even in the unlikely event that you win an argument, what have you really gained?

Do you really need to arrange things so that you can feel superior to everyone else? Even when you’ve been hurt by others, do you ever really receive anything of positive value by hurting them in return?

Do you really need all the many things that you strive to consume or possess? Do you really need to spend every moment concerned about what others will think of you?

How much of your time and energy do you spend satisfying needs that you don’t really need? Imagine the sense of freedom that would come from simply letting go of the most useless of those needs.

Practice focusing your effort and attention not on what you must get, but rather on the best you can be. Real abundance comes more from quality than from quantity.

Spend less time striving to acquire and possess and satisfy every perceived need, and you’ll have much more time and energy to truly live. The less you need, the more real richness your life will have.

Make each challenge pay

Challenge can make you stop, or it can make you unstoppable. It all depends on how you respond. Challenge can compel you to make valuable improvements that you never would have attempted otherwise. Challenge can open your eyes to a whole new level of possibilities.

When the challenges come, gladly accept the energy that they have to give you. Greet each challenge with the expectation that it will make you stronger, more capable, more experienced, more effective.

Then jump right in and get to work on that challenge. The more quickly and enthusiastically you get started, the more real value you’ll be able to gain.

Challenge will give you the opportunity to discover how very much you can accomplish. And knowing how much you can accomplish sets you up to accomplish even more.

When there is a challenge in your life, it’s only a matter of time and effort before that challenge can be transformed into a real and lasting treasure. Take the time, put forth the effort, and you’ll surely make each challenge pay.

Somewhere new

No matter how many places you may have been, there is always somewhere new that you can go. No matter how many ideas you may have already explored, there is always something new to consider. Nothing can energize you

in quite the same way as going to a place where you’ve never been before. Whether it is visiting a new physical place, considering a new concept, or making a new friend, each new experience adds much richness to life.

When you seem to be stuck, and not making any progress, a change of scenery is one of the best gifts you can give yourself. Whether it is for fifteen minutes, a weekend, or a month, going somewhere new and different can get you moving forward again.

It may seem like a waste of time to stop what you’re doing and switch your attention to something else. Yet often, the best way to maintain your focus is to give that focus a rest for a while.

By gaining a new perspective, you can re-connect in a powerful way with your purpose, your passion, with the energy that drives your life. By experiencing yourself being somewhere new, you can learn valuable new things about yourself and your world.

If would, of course, be foolish to try to run away from your problems and responsibilities. Yet when you take the time to get away to somewhere new, you’ll gain new insight and energy for successfully addressing those
problems and fulfilling those responsibilities.

On a regular basis, go somewhere new. And keep fresh, positive energy flowing into your life.

Your job is to determine your outcomes by your intentions. What are your income expectations? Are they in alignment with your time and budget?

Say Yes

Saturday, July 17th, 2010

Say yes to what is. Say yes to what can be. Say yes to beauty. Say yes to truth.

You won’t accomplish anything by striving against reality. The fastest way to grow stronger and more effective is by acceptance of what is.

There is overwhelming goodness and richness in life if you will just see it. There is fulfillment and joy in every direction if you will just let it be.

By all means, take an active role in life. And let that active role begin with saying yes.

Say yes to this day, to this moment, to this very situation as it now is. And you will unlock a real and abiding value that pulls you ever upward.

Decide and do Life can be unfair, confusing, discouraging, and filled with all sorts of unexpected factors. Yet even in the most difficult situations, achievements of every kind are most assuredly within your reach.

Decide what you intend to do, and get clear on the specifics of what that involves. Then get going, and don’t stop until you’re there.

Even when you’re discouraged, you can still put one foot in front of another. Even when distractions beg for your attention, you can choose to remain focused on the task at hand.

Even when setbacks come, there is a way to keep going. Even when you make a mistake, or a whole series of them, you can learn from what you’ve done and go forward from there.

Anything can provide you with a good excuse to give up. Yet nothing can stop you when you choose to keep going.

What do you truly want in your life right now? Decide what you intend to do, and know that you can make it happen.

What if, instead of demanding that life were different, you simply set out to make it better by virtue of your own attitude and actions? What if, instead of placing limitations on your happiness, and holding it hostage until certain conditions were met, you simply let that happiness happen?

Imagine how life would be if you didn’t have to worry about getting things or losing them. Imagine what you could accomplish if you could spend your time free of anger, frustration, and regret.

Think of all the places you could go if you didn’t have to first ask permission from your own ego. Consider how much energy you would have if you were free from every anxiety.

Such a life is possible, and it is closer than you may think. In fact, the very act of visualizing it begins to make it happen.

Because your ego, your attitude, your anxieties, your frustrations, angers and regrets are all creatures of your own making. And you can choose just exactly how they will be.

Visualize a life of freedom, fulfillment, meaning and richness. Hold on to that vision and you will begin to make it be.

Your job is to determine your outcomes by your intentions. What are your income expectations? Are they in alignment with your time and budget? TELL ME YOUR  INTENTIONS!

The past is no longer in a position to hold you back. This is a new day, and every disappointment is already far behind you.

Ahead, there are possibilities too numerous to even count. Look closely, with your heart, and the best of those possibilities will come shining through.

There is no reason to hold yourself back any longer. This is your moment to shine, this is your day to live with fullness, with richness, with joy and with love.

This very moment, all of life surrounds you, supports you, encourages you and pulls you toward the best you can be. Dive in to the golden opportunity that is now, and know how it feels to be fully alive.

Time to Think

Every now and then, on rare occasion, a quick and frantic response is needed. Most of the time, however, a calm and thoughtful response is much more powerful and effective.

Before you respond to life’s events, take time to think clearly and calmly about what you are doing. Before you respond to the situations that come your way, take time to remember who you are and the direction you want to be moving.

A frantic, emotional reaction made in haste can often push you back even more than the event to which you are reacting. On the other hand, a calm, thoughtful response can usually bring a positive outcome from what would otherwise be a negative situation.

Certainly it is sensible to respond promptly to whatever life sends your way. Yet that does not mean that you must respond thoughtlessly and carelessly.

Before you say something you could regret for a long time, take a moment to calmly consider it. Before you do something that might take years to overcome, take a moment to thoughtfully consider your response.

A calm, well-considered response is a powerful response. Take time to think, and the way you respond will keep you moving positively forward.

A beautiful world

You live in a beautiful world. The more you appreciate and enjoy that beauty, the more beautiful it becomes. Beauty is impossible to define and, at the same time, impossible to ignore. You know what it is without having to learn.

Beauty is much more than mere physical appearance. In fact, magnificent beauty can often be found in what appears to be plain and ordinary, when you explore it deeply enough.

Beauty can awe, inspire and astonish. Beauty can energize your spirit in ways that nothing else can.

One of the nicest things you can do for yourself is to give yourself the time and space to simply take in the beauty that is around you. Beauty asks nothing more than to be treasured, and when you let yourself experience it, beauty has much to give.

There is beauty stretching out in all directions. Dive deeply into it, and it will make you more.
